My name is Dawn (aka “PainterMommy”) and I have been an artist since I was a little girl... drawing and doodling in sketch books, crafting, sewing, and painting on canvas.  My favorite class in school was art class, of course, where I learned and blossomed as a painter.  But it wasn’t until my late 20’s that I started dabbling in faux paint finishes and wall murals. 

It became an official business in 2002 and since then, I have worked in hundreds of homes throughout, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and now Florida. 

I chose the name of my business because of the obvious… I’m a mom. I have 4 children of my own (ages 14 to 19) and 3 step children (over 18).  But at one point, we had 7 kids in our home.  It was complete chaos but I so enjoyed taking part in raising them.  (see pictures below) And now I’m a grandmother which is a whole new exciting chapter in our lives.  

My husband and I have been living here in West Bradenton for the last 10 years and love it.  We work together as a team on most projects from painting to remodeling.  We are mainly a word of mouth business.  Our clients love us… so they refer us to their friends and family and we hope you will as well!  ❤️ 

Keep in mind, we are usually booked out for 4 to 6 weeks but we do offer “emergency / rush services” for an Increased hourly rate of $75 per hour. Our normal rate is $50 per hour plus the cost of materials.
