When I first started getting involved on Twitter.? I really had no idea how it would impact and change my life for the better.? It has opened more doors than I can count.? I have met some wonderful friends all over the world and have picked up more work than I know what to do with.

So, now you understand how Twitter works and helps you to connect with people on a personal level.? Well, there is an even greater benefit to Twitter – NETWORKING FOR BUSINESS!? Here are 50 Ideas on Using Twitter for Business.? I am a prime example of how you can take a small business to the next level using Twitter as a marketing tool.? It gives you the opportunity to connect with the world and share about who you are, what you are doing, and how you do it.? It is a place to get to know others in your field of work.? It is a place to ask questions and seek feedback on work projects.

For example, I just finished a website for a client and I posted the link on Twitter and asked if people could share their thoughts on the design, layout, and content.? I got several replies and was able to work from that to make the site even better than it was.? The more people you connect with, the better.? Your world expands.? Your opportunities increase.

I am an online virtual business assistant and I tweet daily about what I am doing.? For instance, when I am working on a blog graphic – I share something like this: “Working on Custom Blog Header for a client.? Anyone interested?? Check out my site….” ? People respond if they are interested and WORK COMES IN!? It’s great!
