We really enjoy spending time together as a family, especially after a long work week. Friday evenings and Saturdays are always set aside for us to do something special – preferably with the least amount of money as possible. I often look online for hiking spots and local parks for us to visit. We even like to go on driving adventures and explore new towns and roads. I feel like it is so important for us to do these things together as a family even when the children are young. They learn early on how to appreciate family time, especially when you make it fun.
This is a photo gallery of our recent Saturday outing to a small nature preserve in Chappaqua, NY. It had a man made boardwalk going through a swamp with several look outs, hiking paths, and wildlife. We then ended up at a new park that we found on our way home. Click on the “Show Picture List” below. If you are visiting from Facebook – click on the title of this post to view the gallery on my blog.

Use those times out in nature to remind the kids who made it & praise the Lord.Ur kids love praising God & dancing around my kitchen singing praises to His name. There’s such a small window for them to get into thier hearts how good God is.
