Did you ever notice….It’s not like we forget the commitments we made…it’s just that as an independent smart woman, it’s easy to think through and then rationalize why we can’t keep them. (Right now I’m working on my weight loss commitment…and it’s incredible how many excuses I can come up with to derail it)

Good luck Dawn! I’ll be thinking about you :)

I hate to make commitments because I have such a fear of not keeping them! I especially do not want to make a promise to God in case I can’t follow through…then I feel so guilty!

I’m Roman Catholic and I always try to give up something for Lent…I do make a commitment during this time. I too want to fast TV and also computer time…not give them up completely, but cut down significantly.

I will do my very best…Janel in NJ

So true Stefanie. I find myself doing that a lot – rationalizing. I wish you all the best with the weight loss. It sure can be tough when we are so busy to keep these BIG commitments. Good luck sweety!
