My precious baby boy turned one on Friday! I just can’t believe how fast it goes sometimes. Check out our video!
Well, we are not usually ones to throw big parties. We do not have family local to us, so it can be difficult to try and put a party together. Every few years we will throw a big combo party for all the kids, at my moms. But with me being pregnant and due in just 2 months, I have to stick close to home.
We still had a great time though. It doesn’t take much to make a child’s birthday party special – balloons, streamers, cake, presents, and lotsa love. 
And no matter how many children I have, I will always make sure that the birthday boy or girl has a great day.

Happy 1st birthday to Jaden! I agree that smaller parties are the most special for kids. Who needs ponies, bounce houses, gift bags and clowns? I say keep it simple!

Cute video! Thanks for sharing it. Glad you all had a great time. I did not know your son’s name was Jaden. We now share the love of this name. My daughter’s name is Amaya Jayden. It was a tough discussion between the two names Amaya and Jayden; so we kept them both:)

Awwww! All of your babies are TOO cute. (Or as I normally say “They are too cutie.” lol) They are all dolls. And you look beautiful. Two months to go my behind. You are glowing all over the place. I don’t think I was that happy at 7 months. Matter of fact, my husband would say he was with a monster for the better part of 5 months. lol

Kids party at this age are great, wait until they are 13-16 when they are just too cool for a party and only want money. Enjoy it now while you can.
