I have recently starting Vlogging! (Video Blogging) through NewBaby.com.? This is a place where moms can learn, share, and create memories through video.? I am so excited because I was asked by NewBaby.com to be one of the mom product reviewers.? They even sent me my very own Flip Video Camera in order to get started.? How cool is that?!!
So, I will be sent baby / child related products that I will video and share what I think of the product.? These videos will get posted on the site for other moms to view.? They also have random discussion questions that we can participate in vlogging about.
My first video discussion was on the topic of “Children and TV”.? Check it out!
Enjoyed your first vlog! I, too, allow my daughter to watch television (she’s 3). Thank goodness for Noggin! There are days that I actually don’t know what I’d do without it–not that she watches television all day, but when I need a few minutes for something–Dora or Max and Ruby are a quick fix. We recently moved away from friends and family, and I’ve noticed that I’m allowing her to spend more time watching TV–need to work on that! I am in agreement that what we let the kiddos watch should be closely monitored! Thanks for your insight… ~Nicole
Ok so did newbaby.com hand out flips to everyone? How excited I am that you and I can start vlogging around the same time! I just won a FLIP from newbaby.com and I am anxiously awaiting getting it because the camcorder I have is old and not as high quality! Congrats girl looking forward to “seeing more of you”
Hi Dawn
Interesting your first video is on this subject, I have been feeling really guilty lately because I have been letting my son watch TV for 2 hours or more after preschool. It has been cold out side and I am swamped with working on my websites and blog. I was so immersed in my work today that he took a banana and mashed it into the carpet. when that kind of behavior begins I have to wonder if he is really crying for my attention. It is such a challenge to find a balance. I use the time while he in school for appointments etc. but still need to work once he is home.
BTW, I love the Flip. I have had mine about 3 months, creating videos has never been easier.
